Piece 13

We are officially over halfway through the Pieces of Plumey. We left our thirteenth piece at the fantastic lodge we stayed at in Denali. This was the view from our back porch. Beautiful!!!

Piece 13: Denali Lakeview Inn, Healy, Alaska

Memory #13:
He loved to dance. He was always making up new moves, such as “The Shovel,” or “The Lawnmower.” And when he was dancing, even if you were self-conscious, you wanted to be dancing with him, too.

As a side point, we have gotten great response from the article in the Daily News! I'm so glad people are excited about our project. Tonight we are going to watch the sunset by the water in Anchorage, and we will leave Piece 14 somewhere along the way!

  1. the shovel! lawnmower! wish i could have witnessed this :) every party needs a fun dancer, like you said, no matter how shy or what kind of dancer you are- that kind of fun is contagious. He really was one of a kind!
